Yes — if digital archiving meets the legal requirements for audit security, paper receipts may be destroyed in Switzerland after scanning. Abacus expense management meets these requirements. We recommend a quick check with your fiduciary (luckily we have one in-house).
AI recognition works best with printed receipts. Handwritten receipts may need a manual correction. In practice most receipts are machine-readable.
Yes — corporate card statements from Cornercard and Viseca can be imported directly and reconciled automatically with captured receipts. That eliminates duplicate work entirely.
